On Thursday, June 11, Wayne will host approximately 200 riders participating in Bicycle Ride Across Nebraska (BRAN 44) as they make their overnight stop in our community. Riders will be camping at Prairie Park and enjoying an evening of activities, entertainment, food, and local attractions throughout Wayne.

Many of the activities listed below are open to both BRAN riders and the public. We encourage residents and visitors alike to enjoy the evening's events and explore everything Wayne has to offer.
Parking Information
To help reduce congestion around Prairie Park, residents attending the BRAN 44 Community Celebration are encouraged to park at one of the designated public parking areas.
- Carhart Lumber Lot
- Paved Lot South of Praiere Park Apartments
- Journey Christian Church
Complimentary shuttle service will operate throughout the evening from Journey Christian Church to Prairie Park and other event destinations. Due to the large number of riders, vendors, and activities taking place at Prairie Park, parking near the event may be limited. Visitors are encouraged to use designated parking areas and shuttle service whenever possible.
Shuttle information
Complimentary shuttle service will operate throughout the evening, providing transportation between Prairie Park and several locations across Wayne. Riders and residents are welcome to use the shuttle to explore the community and enjoy the evening's activities.
Stops include
- Journey Christian Church, which will offer Wi-Fi, phone charging stations, and a spaghetti and ice cream feed
- Wildcat Lanes, featuring food, drinks, and music bingo
- Wayne State College's Planetarium, home to two evening shows
- The Majestic Theatre, where guests can catch a movie and experience one of Wayne's historic downtown attractions. Shuttles will run continuously between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. throughout the celebration
